Former Inter and current Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has voiced his opinions on Serie A after three games played during his press conference ahead of Italy’s upcoming games with Portugal and Poland.
“I do not think anything has changed in comparison to last year. Juventus have again proved themselves to be the strongest but we are of course only at the beginning and things can change in the future,” he said.
Mancini also shared his disappointment in the lack of usage of younger Italian players in the line-ups
“There is some disappointment in seeing the poor usage of Italian players. There are some young Italian who are stuck on the bench despite being better than some foreigners who are playing ahead of them as starters.
“Our use of Italians has never been so low, so we have to try something different. That’s why I have called up certain players.”
