Serie A players value’s have underwent the second largest growth only behind the Premier League in the past season the Italian Football Observatory detail.

The Premier League players values improved by 60.8%, Serie A’s by 46.3%, Ligue 1 by 45%, Bundesliga by 41.4% and La Liga’s by 34.8%.

When all teams player values are combined, the Premier League is way in front with a value of €8.01 billion, La Liga is second with €5.07 billion, Serie A third with €4.39 billion, Bundesliga fourth with €3.79 billion and Ligue 1 fifth with €2.74 billion.

The observatory also looked at the top 11 in the league and how the value compares to last year’s total. The team is now worth some €740 million, an increase of 65.2% in comparison to last year’s squad. Set-up in a 4-4-2 formation and with only one Italian featuring, the top 11 in full can be seen below.
