Inter have sent well wishes to former goalkeeper Julio Cesar as the Brazilian goalkeeper celebrated his 39th birthday.

“Seven years spent between our sticks, from 2005 to 2012. Seven years that saw him become the best goalkeeper in the world and win everything there was to win during 300 Nerazzurri appearances: one Champions League, one Club World Cup, five Scudetti, three Coppa Italia trophies and four Supercoppa Italiana titles.

“On behalf of FC Internazionale Milano, Inter Forever and all Inter fans, we’d like to wish Julio Cesar a very happy 39th birthday,” a statement posted to Inter’s official club website read.

Inter also took to social media to celebrate Julio Cesar’s derby heroics as part of his birthday celebrations.
