Inter’s midfield remains the biggest problem for them as their faltering start to the campaign continued with a defeat to Parma at the weekend in the eyes of Tuttosport.

The Turin based newspaper insist that it is this area of the pitch that has plagued the Nerazzurri in recent years and have taken a look at those who have suffered.

For years he was the symbol of inconsistency at Inter then lead the way during the run in for Champions League qualification but there is now a question mark on his head again. Forming attacks is now all up to him and that’s why a Modric style player would have been very comfortable.”
