Inter manager Luciano Spalletti addressed the squad in no uncertain terms yesterday at training off the back of the defeat to Parma according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Spalletti reminded players that they have to start immediately and that Inter’s busy schedule does not allow them to build up to anything or get much rest. He demanded a reversal of fortunes going forward following the faltering start all while causing no real drama.

Moreover, it is understood that the directors of the Nerazzurri have been expecting more from the side this term that has already lost two league games, particularly Piero Ausilio and Giovanni Gardini who were both also at Appiano Gentile yesterday.

The report goes on to state that for now there is maximum trust in Spalletti to swing things around and get Inter performing to expectations starting tomorrow in the Champions League where they will play host to Tottenham Hotspur.
