Walter Zenga: “Managing Inter? Maybe On Playstation”

In an interview with Canel 5 show Pressing, former Inter goalkeeper Walter Zenga refused to give a definitive answer as to whether or not he would like to manage Inter in the future.

“I do not want to say anything and get in trouble with Luciano Spalletti who is a friend of mine but perhaps on the Playstation in 2021 I will manage them,” he joked.

Zenga also backed what Spalletti said about Inter having to do better.

“Spalletti is right, Inter must do better. It is simply not enough to be good at doing the required task, it takes more grit and more courage than that.”

Zenga also weighed in on the Mauro Icarid and Gonzalo Higuain debate that rages on.

“Who would I take between Icardi and Higuain? Icardi,” he responded.

He concluded the interview by speaking on VAR and its lack of usage in Inter vs Parma.

“Last year it was experimental. The strange thing this year and, in particular, the episodes of Inter-Parma is that the referee does not go and view all the incidents.”
