Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts after the dramatic last minute win against Tottenham in the opening group stage match of the Champions League.

The former Udinese goalkeeper was happy and underlined the importance of the three points saying that: “It is a fundamental win, we demonstrated great character. We continued to play even after Tottenham scored and the team was not disunited as previously.”

Handanovic then praised the Inter fans for the win: “The Stadium charged us up, it was a beautiful night, a spectacular match with an insane atmosphere. The group is very evenly balanced and will be until the end, this win gives us the force to not give up and to form a great enthusiasm.”

“We have not started well in the Serie A but this win gives us a bit of wind beneath our sails. We have to remember this match when we go into Saturday’s match” Handanovic concluded
