The contribution of Skriniar in the defensive phase was also fundamental. He intercepted two Fiorentina passes and won two aerial duels as well as blocking five shots. He was hard when it came to duels but very skilful with his feet and the former Sampdoria player confirmed his ability during the game last night.”

Skriniar has now made five appearances to date for Inter this season across all competitions and has played in every minute of the campaign so far.
