Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello stopped by Italian Serie A broadcaster DAZN to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district against Cagliari.

The Nerazzurri director was asked about Luciano Spalletti’s role at the club in the wake of rumors that his position at the club has been under question to which Antonello was crystal clear: “Luciano Spalletti is a point of reference not just for the team but he is a point of reference for this club. He is a person who helps to involve our fans and he is a fundamental part of our strategy in all areas.”

Luciano Spalletti took over the reigns at Inter ahead of the 2017/2018 season after having led Roma to a second place finish in the Serie A and managed to lead the Nerazzurri back to the Champions League for the first time in six seasons after finishing in fourth spot last season.
