Argentinian interim national team manager Lionel Scaloni has called up Inter duo Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez for the upcoming friendly fixtures against Iraq and Brazil on 12th and 16th of October respectively.

Scaloni stated that: “I want to that these young players continue to play and to show what they are worth because the Argentinian national team shirt is heavy. Then when the permanent coach arrives he can decide if these young players are good enough or to call up those who have brought us to 10 finals.”
