PSV’s de Jong: “Inter Goalkeeper Handanovic Should Have Seen Red”

PSV striker Luuk de Jong has revealed he spoke with referee Milorad Mazic after the game last night where they lost 2-1 to Inter and got his explanation on why Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic avoided a red card for handling the ball outside the box.

“His explanation was that there were three men behind him but my explanation to him was that there was still 100% chance of scoring and so for me he needed to see red, but a referee will never their first decision,” a disgruntled de Jong told Dutch news outlet NOS.
