A slight muscular injury forced Inter manager Luciano Spalletti to omit the name of Marcelo Brozovic from the squad list for the match with SPAL tonight.
Brozovic’s issue will be better evaluated in the coming days but it is something that has not alarmed the Nerazzurri management at least not for the time being.
It is not a worrying time yet as, in short, it might be a welcome break for him, because when he returns to the pitch, Inter will be greeted by two very important challenges: the Milan derby in the league and Barcelona in the Champions League and to lose Brozovic for those two games would be very unfortunate.
Without Brozovic in Ferrara, there will be chance for Borja Valero, who has shown himself to be in great form during his cameo appearances. He will be handed the keys to the midfield by Spalletti for the match at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in the absence of the Croatian.
