In the eyes of the editors of Corriere dello Sport, Mauro Icardi was Inter’s best performer in the 2-1 victory in which he scored both of the Nerazzurri’s goals.
Icardi has been handed a 7.5 rating by the Rome based newspaper, a .5 rating better than the next best player in Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic who was given a 7.
Milan Skriniar and Kwadwo Asamoah both receieved 6.5 ratings and are therefore tied for third best performance in the match at the Stadio Paolo Mazza.
No less than five players were given a 6 rating and those players are Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic, Sime Vrsaljko, Borja Valero and Matias Vecino.
Keita Balde was given a 5 rating but was spared the blushes of having the worst rating with that unfortunate honour going to defender Miranda who got a 4.5.
