Inter manager Luciano Spalletti insisted in his post-match press conference after the win over SPAL that he and his side were fully focused on the match and were not thinking of the games ahead without getting past the game first.

“I was interested in this match and was not thinking of it as the one before the Milan derby or one that could be used as preparation for the match with Barcelona. We done well something and was determined by our individual qualities. We played a great game against a physical team. SPAL are well trained and they themselves had a good game.”
