The most likely scenario for the future of both the Milan clubs at San Siro is that they continue to share the ground according to a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The pair now must formalise a plan with one another for their future at the 80,018 capacity stadium which is owned by the Milan city council.
Since Suning’s arrival at the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2016, Inter’s plan has seemingly always been to remain at the ground and renovate it to bring it up to the times. The same however can not be said for their Milan counterparts.
Milan’s Chinese ownership were understood to have lofty ambitions to take the club away from the ground but with that ownership now out of the club, it appears as if their current ownership wish to remain at the stadium they have called home since its opening way back in 1926.
