Davide Lippi, the agent of Inter winger Matteo Politano, has spoken on his client’s start to life as an Inter player and his recent snub from the Italian national team for the upcoming games against Ukraine and USA in this international break.

“Roberto Mancini is evaluating other players and he is making different choices to him. Matteo is focused on Inter and he is working hard and getting excellent results. He is wearing a heavy weighing shirt in the Nerazzurri’s and I am sure that Mancini will call upon him soon,” Lippi explained in an interview with RMC Sport.

Politano joined Inter in the summer on a loan with redemption option basis from Sassuolo and is currently performing to a level that would warrant Inter turning the move permanent. The 25-year-old has made 10 appearances across all competitions for Inter so far and contributed a single goal while tallying two assists.
