Speaking ahead of the match against the Czech Republic, who have many Serie A players in their squad such as Patrik Schick and Jakub Jankto, Inter defender Milan Škriniar is rumored to be used once again as a right-back, as he did in the Champions League match against Tottenham.
A rumour, however, that the Inter defender responds to with a smile, when denying it when speaking to Czech outlet ISport: “I do not imagine it happening. Against Tottenham it was a special and unique situation because both of our right-backs were out injured and unavailable.”
Skriniar concluded that “The coach, Luciano Spalletti, showed me the whole week before the match how to play in that position, I also trained well, but I did not think it would happen, and in fact it happened on my Champions League debut. I needed to adjust to different movements, but in the end the most important thing is that we managed to win it.”
