Inter legend Diego Milito was among the many guests present at the event dedicated to Inter’s triplete winning side and firstly shared his delight and seeing old faces again in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport.
“To see many of my friends again after a long time is really exciting, we are all older but we all remember the many moments lived together.”
Milito, whose two goals in the Champions League final completed the triplete, then spoke on the upcoming Milan derby which is Inter’s first match back after the international break.
“Inter seem to be on the right track, the derby is a special match and I hope that Inter will put in a good performance and of course win.”
The ex-striker then spoke on current Inter talisman Mauro Icardi as well as Lautaro Martinez.
“Icardi has grown a lot. He is very mature and he is very important for the team and he can still improve. He is a great striker, both he and Lautaro are the future of our national team.”
