Inter legend and current director at Racing Club de Avellaneda Diego Milito has spoken on the risk of losing several players and also discussed Lautaro Martinez’s move to Inter.
“We will see at the end of the season where we will be at. We cannot exclude the possibility of offers from our players, because if the team does well, this is a logical consequence of it,” Il Principe explained in an interview with Argentine news outlet Ole.
“Some of our players might arrive at the national team and other clubs might then make offers for them. If the offer is significant, as in the case of Lautaro Martínez with Inter, we must be prepared. We are ready for everything that could happen, but maybe there will not be a need to sell and the team may not have to be dismantled.”
Lautaro joined Inter in the summer for a fee believed to be €22.7 million plus add-ons and has made four appearances for the Nerazzurri since, scoring once.
