Inter owned Brazilian attacker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is having a great season with Santos, the club he is currently loaned out to.

Santos coach Cuca was interviewed by Brazilian media outlet GloboEsporte about Gabigol’s season as well as what he thinks the future holds for the youngster stating that: “I have already told Gabigol what I think. He came to me and we spoke and I told him that he has reached a level where he is good enough for the Brazilian national team.”

“He has returned here to demonstrate to everyone that he is good enough to return to Europe once again, this is the truth. He needs to keep this in his mind, if it turns out that he doesn’t stay here he must prepare himself in a different manner in order to get his revenge” Cuca concluded.

Gabigol returned to Santos, the club he left to join Inter in the summer of 2017, in order to return back to the form that prompted the Nerazzurri to pay €30 million for him.
