Ahead of tomorrow night’s match away to Lazio, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has stressed that he feels fully supported by the Zhang family who own Inter through their company the Suning Group.

“I have had the chance to get to know the father Jindong and the beauty of the story behind the family and their company. I have received their guarantee of what they want Inter to be in the future. Every time I speak with them I get told, ‘mister, we are here, we are 100% with you’,” he said in an interview with broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The former Roma manager has been on the bench of the club since the summer of 2017 and guided Inter back to the Champions League after a six year absence from the competition. His success was recently rewarded with a new contract and he is tied to the Nerazzurri through to the end of the 2020/21 season.
