Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Sala has again shared his desire for a decision from the Milanese clubs to be made about their respective futures at San Siro.

“The granting of the lease of San Siro to Milan and Inter for 99 years? We are open to all solutions even a solution such as this one suggested. The sooner the clubs find a solution, the better, I would like a solution to be found by the end of my mandate,” he said in an interview with newspaper Il Giorno.

Sala, who has voiced in favour of the clubs remaining at San Siro many a time, proceeded to reveal why he tried to push the previous Milan ownership in to hurrying up to make a decision.

“I pushed them because I had fears about them and when I said it they took me for some kind of provocateur but actually I had my reasons for doing so but now with Milan under the ownership of Elliot Management we can all be more relaxed with the matter.”
