Luciano Spalletti spoke on the past week at Inter that has seen two games and a presidential change in an interview with Inter TV in view of the game with Lazio.
“It has been a very important week at the club. We put in an important performance against Milan then we lost to Barcelona, a match that will provide us with further room for growth. Steven Zhang then became president of the club. Every time I talk to Steven, he reiterates that he’s with us 24 hours a day. Being with him is being Inter.”
Spalletti was then asked if there is a risk of fatigue in some of the players given it will be Inter’s third game in eight days and what he expects from it.
“Maybe there will be but I saw an important reaction yesterday in training that the players would not accept the event of Wednesday.
“It will be difficult because Lazio are a team with a well-defined style against any opponent. I have hardly seen them in difficulty and even when they lose they always show that they have a strength in character and team play to react.”
He concluded the interview by discussing the possible rotation of the starting eleven.
“It is normal for me to consider using all the players in the team, so I say yes there can be rotation.”
