Inter Midfielder Joao Mario: “Very Happy To Be Back On The Pitch”

Joao Mario made an almost sensational comeback yesterday when Inter beat Lazio 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome last night.

The main reason that the player, whose relations with Inter broke down last season and during the summer transfer market, started the game against Lazio was of course the injury problems Inter currently are having and the Portuguese was very happy at being back amongst the starters after spending the entire summer with a suitcase in his hand, ready to go to whichever team wanted him. On his personal Instagram account, he could not hide the satisfaction of returning to the pitch as a starting player stating, “I am very happy to be back!”

Then Joao Mario turned to the fans, who spent the last couple of months whistling at him: “”Thank you all for the support and for a great victory! We are on the right track.”
