Sime Vrsaljko and Mauro Icardi have both been named in football data website WhoScored.com’s Serie A team of the month for the month of October.

The Croatian defender had an average rating of 7.44 while Icardi had an average rating of 8.29. They are joined in the team by Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, Roma’s Stephen El Sharaawy and Atalanta’s Josip Ilicic, who was named their player of the month.
