Inter coach Luciano Spalletti commented on the win against Genoa in an interview with Inter TV.

“This was a game where we were absolutely forced to bring home a win in in order to keep up with the other teams at the top of the table. When you have a solid and compact group, my job gets easier, the boys know what it means being a professional and are intensely doing what is expected from them. They really pleased our fans.”

Spalletti then spoke on Lautaro Martinez.

“I think he was really good throughout the entire game and is a warrior. He brings the best out of himself when he is in position. He played a great game today not attacking nor too deep but often put himself in good spaces.”

He concluded the interview by revealing how he prepared the team for the game.

“When you know that there will be 70,000 spectators it is easy to find the right attitude. When there are a lot of emotions, there is no space for joking around. You have to give your best.”
