Some 78,000 fans are expected to be in attendance at San Siro for tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage match with Barcelona according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
The Rome based newspaper believe that Inter playing in front of so many of their supporters could make all the difference to the players on the pitch and will undoubtedly give them an upper-hand on Barcelona who can not rely on the crowd as a 12th man like Inter will be able to.
With another huge crowd, it continues to show just how enthusiastic the Inter fan base are about the team at the moment and how willing they are to play their part in trying to cheer the team on to victory.
Inter vs Barcelona is scheduled for a 21:00 CET kick-off and will be each side’s fourth group stage game of the campaign. A win for Barcelona would see them through to the next round while a win for Inter would put them a step closer to qualifying for the knockout stage.
