Borja Valero has looked ahead to tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage encounter with Barcelona at San Siro.

“We do not know if the last match will be enough to help us tomorrow, as they too are a good side but we will give it our all,” he admitted in an interview with Inter TV.

The Spaniard then spoke on the need for Inter to not repeat previous mistakes against the Blaugrana and Barcelona star man Lionel Messi.

“We must understand what the biggest mistakes were last time out and not repeat them. We are playing at home and the fans can be an added weapon for us.

“Messi is one of the best in the world and his presence on the field will make a difference but we have prepared to face them with or without him.”

He concluded the interview by stating he hopes that Inter’s recent good form will help them.

“We come in to the game from good results and the last few have given us even more confidence in ourselves and we hope it will help us.”
