A confident Steven Zhang has spoken briefly ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage encounter at home to Barcelona.

“Of course I am ready for Barcelona. I am satisfied, the team is training well, with intensity and personality. We see a good team spirit, we are playing well and we are united,” the Inter president said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

Zhang, who was named Inter president in recent weeks, gave the interview with the Milan based newspaper at racetrack Monza where he was taking in one of his favourite past-times, watching race and super cars during the Ferrari World Finals event.

Inter are due to host Barcelona tomorrow night in the fourth group stage match of this year’s competition and the match result could have a huge bearing on either side’s chances of qualification to the knockout stage of the competition. Inter-Barcelona is scheduled to kick off at 21:00 CET.
