Porto midfielder Hector Herrera was again quizzed on his future with the Portuguese giants with his contract set to expire at the end of the current season.

“The best thing would be to find an agreement with Porto, I am giving my body and soul for this team. It is clear that I would like to stay here,” the Mexican told the media after his side’s resounding 4-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow in the Champions League last night.

The 28-year-old has drawn numerous links to a whole host of clubs due to his contractual situation with Inter among them. Fellow Serie A side Roma are also understood to have a keen interest in signing him too. Real Madrid have also been quoted due to the previous working relationship between Julen Lopetegui and Herrera but with Lopetegui being removed from his position as manager it is unclear if Los Blancos maintain their interest.
