Marotta Could Sign Contract To Join Inter At End Of The Month

Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is edging ever-closer to joining the Inter board and could sign his contract with Inter at the end of the month according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Marotta has travelled to Nanjing, China, where Inter’s owners Suning have their headquarters to define all the details with Inter and Suning owner Jindong Zhang and his son Steven, who is Inter president.

Marotta wishes to get assurances over Inter’s plans in the short, medium and long term and his salary while the Zhang’s are open to hearing the plan’s Marotta has for the Nerazzurri.

The report goes on to state that Marotta’s first game on the Inter board will be against his former employers Juventus at the Allianz Stadium at the start of December.

Marotta will assume the role of chief executive of sporting matters while current chief executive Alessandro Antonello will just deal with the administrative matters concerning the role.
