Sime Vrsaljko will be back at Inter’s training ground at Appiano Gentile today so Inter medical staff can evaluate his condition after he was forced off the pitch in Croatia’s defeat to England yesterday after not even half an hour.
As of yet, the right back has yet to speak with Inter’s staff about his condition but if Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic’s comments are anything to go by, there does not need to be too much worry.
Dalic told reporters after the game yesterday that Vrsaljko’s injury did not seem too serious and with a bit of luck, all the testing he will go through today will give complete confirmation of that.
The 26-year-old defender joined the Nerazzurri in the summer on a season long loan from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and has been limited to just seven appearances across all competitions due to having to deal with numerous injuries.
