Borja Valero has spoken on the atmosphere in the changing room in an interview with Inter TV.
“It is fundamental that everyone is a group in the changing room. Otherwise, when everyone does their own things the team suffers on the field.
“I have a good connection with Inter and I have good relations with everyone, maybe I am a little closer with those who speak Spanish. Tomasso Berni, Andrea Ranocchia and Daniele Padelli make me laugh too much and I am always together with them.
“Brozovic is a fantastic person, but he always gets upset when he loses in training sessions. Berni, he likes rock music a lot and Keita Balde is pretty vain, he likes to take a lot of selfies and post continuously on Instagram [laughs].”
The veteran Spanish midfielder also revealed what his best moment as a footballer has been.
“My best moment was when I was applauded by the opposition team. It happened at the San Mames against Athletic Bilbao. It was incredible and a memory that I will always carry with me.”
He also spoke on some players that he feels are similar to him from the present and past.
“I think of Xavi because of his intelligence both on and off the pitch. Then there is Iniesta because he is a unique player and David Silva is doing very well with Manchester City and Spain, and then Lothar Matthaus, who is one of the most intelligent players ever. Redondo too. He was one of the players I liked most.”
