Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has shared his delight at Argentina teammate Mauro Icardi opening his goal scoring account with the Argentine national team.

“Luckily we won. I am happy for Icardi’s first goal in the Selección and having scored at the beginning it gave us confidence. It is a great group with talented players,” he remarked in wake of the 2-0 friendly win over Mexico.
