Turkish giants Fenerbahce have taken the first steps toward signing Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa according to a report from Turkish news outlet Milliyet.

As per the report, they have held initial talks with his representatives over a move to the Turkish capital but they are not alone in courting him.

Several clubs from his native Brazil are keen on signing him while there is also believed to be interest from the Premier League, namely from Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United.

With his loan at Santos set to expire at the end of next month, the Nerazzurri are keen to find a new club for him whether that be on a temporary or permanent basis. Should a loan offer arrive, Inter would ultimately prefer for the 22-year-old to remain in Europe this time to test himself rather than go back to Brazil, where he has already proven himself.
