Wanda Nara insists now is not the moment for Mauro Icardi to sign a contract extension with Inter.
Icardi’s current deal is due to expire in 2021 and would leave him with just two years left on his contract next summer, were he not to renew beforehand, with Real Madrid being consistently linked to the striker.
However despite the 25 year-old committing his future to the Nerazzurri in an extended interview with Corriere dello Sport on Friday, Icardi’s wife and agent suggested they are in no rush to put pen to paper with Inter.
“I get into a lot more arguments as an agent than I do as a wife, but it’s not the right time yet to talk about a contract extension,” Wanda told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Whenever people say ‘Wanda said this’ or ‘Wanda has asked for that’, it’s not true.
“In any case, Milan will always be our city, even when and if Inter decide to part ways with Mauro.”
