Inter had scouts present at Sassuolo versus Udinese yesterday to watch two players as the two sides played out a 0-0 draw according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Nerazzurri scouts were there to take notes on Sassuolo defender Marlon Santos da Silva Barbosa, known simply as just Marlon as well as Udinese star Rodrigo de Paul.
Marlon, 23, can play on either side as a central defender and has helped Sassuolo to four clean sheets in his 12 appearances made to date. The Brazilian only joined in the summer from Barcelona but has been quick to make his mark in Serie A.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old de Paul has starred for the Bianconeri this term scoring six times and tallying three assists over the course of 15 appearances across all competitions. The Argentine is in possession of an Italian passport which means that if Inter wished to, they could make a move for him in the January transfer window.
