Davide Lippi, the agent of Inter winger Matteo Politano, has expressed his delight at his client’s current performances at the Nerazzurri since his summer arrival on loan from Sassuolo.

“He is doing very well. I never doubted that he was not up to it. I am happy for him because he is a great guy, he is making an important contribution, but the season is still long. He will be very important for Inter in next two matches,” he said in an interview on the sidelines of Gran Galà of Calcio AIC 2018.

Lippi went on to talk about his client’s desire to play for the Italian national team.

“There is a lot of work ahead of him, and he knows the goal is to win a place in the national team and wear that Azzurri shirt.”

The 25-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date and has got on the score sheet two times and tallied three assists.
