If Inter are to make any moves in the upcoming January transfer window it will almost certainly be to reinforce the midfield according to a report from Sky Sport 24.
New chief executive officer Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will work in tandem with Inter sporting director Piero Ausilo and will look to seize any opportunities to reinforce that arise. The duo will also look toward the summer transfer window and could possibly tie a deal or two up ahead of time.
The reason the midfield is being particularly focused upon is due to the various injuries that Radja Nainggolan and Matias Vecino have had to deal with during the season so far.
The report also comments on Mauro Icardi’s future with the Nerazzurri. Icardi has expressed his love for the club on many occasions and a new contract will come but it remains to be seen if any clubs will make a move for him in the summer.
