In an interview on the sidelines of Inter’s Christmas dinner last night, club president Steven Zhang spoke on the growth of the club.

“In every aspect, we have improved a lot compared to five years ago and we have to continue like this, as a team and as a club. 2018 was great with Inter being back in the Champions League thanks to the goal that everyone remembers from Matias Vecino. We have been competitive with the strongest teams in the world and compared to four-five years ago there is a huge improvement. When I watch the games, it strikes me every now and then that we are invincible and that there are a lot of people that wants to join us. They fear us! Now the time has come to start talking about titles and to arrive at the next level. As a club and as a team we have everything in order to win titles. It is not presumptuous, but trust and conviction. We will manage to beat everyone both on and off the pitch, and after many years of waiting we have the chance to win something.”
