There were no real stand-out performers for Inter yesterday as they drew 1-1 with Chievo Verona in the eyes of Tuttosport with several players putting in uncharacteristically poor performances.

Not one player achieved higher than a 6.5 rating and even then only two players were granted that rating, Ivan Perisic and Sime Vrsaljko. The Croatian winger scored Inter’s only goal but it proved not to be enough in the end.

Samir Handanovic, Marcelo Brozovic, Radja Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi were Inter’s second best performers as they all received 6/10 ratings.

Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Joao Mario, Matias Vecino and Matteo Politano all meanwhile received 5.5 ratings. The worst performance in the Turin newspaper’s eyes came from Lautaro Martinez who they gave a 5 rating to but given he was a relatively late substitute he can perhaps be cut a bit of slack due to not having as long to impact the game as others.
