Flamengo Serious About Inter’s Miranda But His Salary Is A Stumbling Block

The rumours that have circulated around Brazil with regard to Miranda’s future at Inter have now hit Italy with Turin based newspaper Tuttosport reporting on the matter.

The veteran centre back is being heavily linked with a move to Flamengo who are understood to be very serious about bringing him back to his homeland.

The Brazilian international has saw a reduced amount of playing time this term following Stefan de Vrij’s arrival and could well consider leaving, this despite only signing a one-year contract extension recently.

Tuttosport report that there is one obstacle preventing this from becoming a reality, Miranda’s annual salary of €3 million. Miranda himself could help a move go through by of course reducing his contractual demands.

The 34-year-old joined Inter from Atletico Madrid back in 2016 and has went on to make over 100 appearances in the Nerazzurri shirt in which he has scored one goal and tallied three assists.
