According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are ready to make an offer to Cagliari for highly coveted midfielder Nicolo Barella.

The Partenopei are to meet with Cagliari officials in the coming days in Milan to discuss the Italian international with a view to getting a deal done wherein Barella would join the club in the Summer.

Napoli are willing to offer €20 million for Barella’s signature as well as including Adam Ounas and Marko Rog in the deal to take the total value of the deal up to around the €40 million mark.

Barella has also attracted interest from Inter in Italy and a host of clubs outside of Italy and has recently admitted to having no idea what the future holds for him amid the continued interest in his services.

The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in the Rossoblu’s team this season making 20 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal in the process.
