Due to the possibility of Ivan Marcano leaving during this transfer window, Roma sporting director Monchi is on the lookout for a potential replacement and his search has led him to Inter centre back Miranda according to a report from Il Messaggero.
Rumours about a possible January transfer window exit for Miranda are on the rise but at the moment it is difficult to imagine him suiting up for Roma at this current moment. This is due to his high salary of €3.5 million and the fact that Inter will not want to reinforce a direct rival.
The veteran Brazilian has drawn interest from his homeland with Flamengo in particular being mentioned in various reports.
Miranda, who has been with Inter since 2016, has saw limited use this season compared to previous seasons and made just 10 appearances across all competitions to date, due largely to the arrival of Stefan de Vrij in the Summer transfer window.
