Inter Full-back Sime Vrsaljko Likely To Miss Torino Clash Due To Injury

Inter’s Croatian international full-back Sime Vrsaljko, will most likely miss the Nerazzurri’s away match in the Serie A against Torino, to be played at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin on Sunday night at 18.00, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia reports.

Based on the recently concluded training session which finished moments ago, which is the penultimate training session ahead of the match on Sunday, it looks as though the former Atletico Madrid man will miss the match all together.

According to the report, Vrsaljko is still experiencing a tiny problem to his knee, the same knee that has been tormenting him since the World Cup. It is difficult to see that he could be called up for Inter’s tricky away match against former coach Mazzarri’s Torino even though there is still time to recover.

Vrsaljko joined Inter this past summer on loan from Atletico Madrid and has struggled with fitness since joining the club.
