Corriere della Sera have brought an update on Inter’s transfer market on both the incoming and outgoing fronts looking particularly at Italian players.
Inter have overtaken Juventus in the race to sign Manchester United outcast Matteo Darmian. The Italian full back is out of contract with the Red Devils at the end of the season and has been limited to just half a dozen appearances.
Sandro Tonali is another player Inter are interested in but they face a wealth of competition from other top clubs inside and outside of Italy.
Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa is also of interest to the Nerazzurri. Napoli and Juventus are both also interested in signing him from La Viola too but signing him will not be easy with a reported €70-80 million price tag on his head.
Then there is Nicolo Barella. The Cagliari midfielder is subject to a wealth of interest but intends to see the season out in Sardinia before moving on in the Summer with Inter currently the most probable destination.
In terms of outgoing transfers, out-of-favour Roberto Gagliardini has attracted interest from Fiorentina. Fiorentina manager Stefano Pioli was the manager who brought Gagliardini to Inter and is eyeing a reunion but Inter are not intend to move him on.
