Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa spoke with reporters after making his debut in Flamengo’s 1-1 draw with Resende and shared his delight at how he has been received since his arrival from Inter on loan.

I am not yet in an ideal physical condition but to have made my debut and to have played the whole game where I created chances and played well, it certainly makes me very happy. There is still a long way to go in the season and we hope to succeed come the end of it.
