Inter & D’Ambrosio To Hold Talks Over New Contract Next Month

Talks between Inter and Danilo D’Ambrosio are set to commence next week over a contract extension according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The defender – who recently came out in the media to say he would happily welcome talks over a new contract – is currently under contract with the club for a further 18 months until the end of June 2020 and aim of the talks is to prolong his stay at the club until the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season the two-time Italian international has made 19 appearances across all competitions for Inter where he has scored one goal and tallied two assists in 1603 minutes.

D’Ambrosio has been on Inter’s books for five years since arriving from Torino during the 2013/14 season January transfer window. The right back, who can also play on the opposite side and at centre back if required, has went on to make a total of 158 appearances for the Nerazzurri since joining.
