Stephanie Figer, the agent of Gabriel Brazao, has spoken on her client’s transfer to Parma on transfer deadline day yesterday from Brazilian giants Cruzeiro.

Due to non-EU player registration rules in Serie A, Inter had to work in unison with another club in order to sign him and are expected to complete the signing of the young Brazilian shot-stopper in the Summer transfer window.

Chievo Verona initially looked set to be the other team in the joint-signing of the youth internationalist but were taken over in the race by Parma in the final days of the transfer window.

“We took every team’s position into consideration and many European clubs were interested in Gabriel, especially after his recent performances. We analysed all the opportunities and restrictions of each market,” Figer revealed in an interview with GloboEsporte.

“Having spoken with Gabriel, we decided to choose Parma. They really wanted Gabriel’s at the club and they showed it. A lot of legendary goalkeepers have played for that team and we are sure it is the right place for him to grow.”
