Inter Shareholders To Meet In Coming Weeks

An Inter shareholders meeting has been scheduled for just over two weeks time which will see the board of directors go through a few changes following the recent investment from Hong Kong based fund LionRock Capital, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

LionRock Capital hold a 31.05% stake in the Nerazzurri having purchased the remaining shares of former president and owner Erick Thohir in recent weeks for a rumoured sum of €150 million and their entry in to the club will also be ratified at the meeting, the report continues.

The shareholders meeting is due to take place on February 18 and Inter’s stadium, San Siro, with the meeting to commence at 14:30.

The last shareholders meeting – at least one of a similar scale – took place back in October of last year when the aforementioned Thohir was replaced as president of the club by Steven Zhang – who became the youngest president in Nerazzurri history.
